School Uniform
We expect all children to wear school uniform and to be ‘smart for school’ as this helps the children feel like they belong to the school community.
The school’s main colours for uniform are Royal blue and white. Uniform with our school logo is preferred but not essential. Please see the uniform list below for more detail.

UNIFORM Reception –Year 5
Trousers or Skirt – Dark Grey / Black.
Shirt/Blouse or Polo Shirt – White
Cardigan or Round neck Sweatshirt – Royal Blue with school logo
Shoes or boots – Black. NOT training shoes
In summer:
Pupils may wear blue gingham skirts or dresses, or dark grey/black school shorts
UNIFORM –Year 6
Trousers or Skirt – Dark Grey / Black
Collared Shirt/Blouse – Pale Blue
Tie – Royal blue and gold stripe
Cardigan or V-necked Sweatshirt – Royal Blue with school logo
Shoes or boots – Black. NOT training shoes
In summer:
Pupils may wear blue gingham skirts or dresses, or dark grey/black school shorts
PE KIT (Stored in a drawstring bag)
Black Pumps
In Summer:
Royal blue shorts and white t-shirt
In Winter:
Sweatshirt and tracksuit trousers – Dark Grey/ Black
All with names and both sets kept in school.
WATER BOTTLE
All children should have a water bottle with them each day. Please ensure your child has one with a sports top on it.
You can also purchase these from School. Please order via school money.
BAGS
KS1 children should have a slim envelope style book bag
KS2 children should have a slim envelope style book bag OR a small bag/rucksack.
Please do not send anything other than these, as they are difficult to store and as such become a trip hazard in corridors and classrooms.
GENERAL NOTES ON UNIFORM
Please put your child’s name in all clothing. For safety reasons, no jewellery, watches, earrings or studs may be worn by boys or girls during the PE lessons. If your child has to keep their stud earrings in please provide plasters to cover the studs in PE. Watches and plain earring studs can be worn during any other lessons. Children should not wear nail varnish or make-up at school. Hair, if collar length, should be tied back for the purpose of hygiene and Health & Safety.
School uniform with the logo on can be bought from Smart Clothing, and Whittakers Schoolwear both in Bolton town centre and online at www.myclothing.com. All these suppliers provide the embroidered uniform for our school.
It is also available via Uniformd which is pre-owned uniform shop at a reduced cost where the money goes back into school.
