P.E. information
- PE lessons for Reception take place on Thursday afternoon.
- School PE kit should be worn by all children – blue shorts, white t-shirt and black plimsolls (navy/black tracksuit bottoms and trainers can be worn for outside games).
- Kit should be in school EVERY day.
- All kit should have the child’s name inside.
- A letter/message is needed if a child is unable to do PE.
- PE kits will be sent home every half term for washing. Please ensure they are sent back in on the first day back in school after each half term.
Homework
Hearing your child read
Please listen to them read their reading book 5 times a week. Sign your child’s reading record and it will be changed twice weekly. (Monday and Thursday)
Library books are changed on Mondays
Tricky words are also found in the front cover of their phonics books
Purple Mash children can use purple mash to develop their computer skills at home. Their login is inside their Reading record.
Phonics homework will be given out on a Friday to be returned no later than the following Wednesday.
