Things you will need
- PE Kit in a drawstring bag.
- Reading Diary.
- Reading Book.
- Library Book.
- Water Bottle.
- A warm waterproof coat.
- Spelling book to be handed in on a Friday
- PLEASE make sure everything is labelled clearly with your child’s name.

Year 1 End of Year Expectations
P.E. information
- PE lessons take place on Monday and Friday.
- School PE kit should be worn by all children – blue shorts, white t-shirt and black plimsolls (navy/black tracksuit bottoms and trainers can be worn for outside games).
- All kit should have the child’s name inside.
- Kit should be in school EVERY day.
- A letter/message is needed if a child is unable to do PE.
- Please remove earrings and tie up long hair.
Homework
Reading Books will be changed twice a week if reading records are signed, on Monday and Thursday. Please read 5 times a week.
Spellings will be sent home on a Friday ready to practise for the spelling check the following week. Spelling shed tasks supports our weekly spellings.
Homework tasks on teams – Tuesday to be handed in the following Tuesday. Children who cannot access Teams will be sent a paper copy.
